To me, the story of the season has been the Dias/Stones/Ederson combo. In the background you have Gundo plus Cancelo/Rodri emerging. Despite limited time; Bernardo has shown up when we needed him. Walker and LaPorte in supporting roles.

I also think you are watching Aguero and Fernandinho’s final season at City. With a bit of luck; perhaps Mahrez’s as well.

Dias more than anything IMO. Stones has been solid but Ederson has stepped up and been an actual stop blocker this season, something I've hammered him for in the past.

He has been incredible since he put the shirt on. Last year was a step back but he was still solid. I've never seen him have a bad game due to lack of effort.

This one SLIGHTLY pisses me off. First Laporte. Everyone shite on him because of like 2 bad matches. Outside of that he's been an absolute rock. Walker gets shite on unfairly too. He isn't a god but he caught a ton of shite last season for no reason. He had to cover for our dogshit CB play. He had to do too much and suffered for it.

This one is tricky. I think if we get Messi (won't happen IMO) we keep Kun no questions asked. If not, then it goes 60/40. Dinho isn't what he was but he's still a valuable piece. If we can sign him to a reasonable deal he stays. I think we shop HARD for a decent replacement though. If we can't get that then we re-sign him.
