No, it wasn't really him. Some radio station had a guy on their show impersonate Snoop. I'm not sure if they were trying to play it off like it really was Snoop or if the sports blogs that picked up the story didn't get that it was a joke.

It was a radio station DJ impersonating Snoop. It was all a hoax for a laugh.
I'm not trying to be rude, but this rumor has to be stopped eventually.
