Mikel Arteta has now become Arsenal’s first team manager having previously served as head coach. It’s worth noting that he now has the same job title that Arsene Wenger had for his 22 year tenure.

It's not the only job change by the way - Venkatesham is now the CEO. In interview with club website he speaks at great lengths about the connections Edu, Mertesacker and Arteta have but Venkatesham has been at club 10 years and has a very deep understanding of Arsenal values.

Guess Martinez is being sold.

I hate that and all because we need the money to pay for players who refuse to run or defend. Hey Ozil, go away!

Not sure I understand this midfield right now. Both Auba and AMN are out wide left.

Who is the Attacking Mid since Willian is out wide right?

On paper its supposed to be a 3-4-3, but Bellerin is playing back enough to be part of a back 4, and Holding is playing central enough to also be part of a back 4.

Looks like Willian is moving inside a lot

I'd imagine once Ceballos is fit enough he slots into the center over Elneny, who isn't really playing as a defensive mid right now. I guess Arsenal don't truly have a def mid.

Wonder where Willian fits in if Pepe is out there? Arsenal have plenty of wings, but seems DM and AM are kinda weak, if you aren't playing Ozil or Torreira.

One thing is Arteta likes to get AMN on the inside and kind of have Tierney come out wider and it's more of a back 4 in possession.

What I am loving about Arteta's approach is that everyone defends and everyone is a threat on the break. It is really great football to watch.

Tierney was heavily involved
Bellerin not so much
AMN was invisible
Auba needed more service
Hopefully Xhaka's injury isn't bad
Willian looked great, like he was with the squad for a while
Laca getting a goal is awesome, need him to get out of the funk from last year
Gabriel nets his first goal for the club
Defending overall was very good; although, Fulham didn't do much to challenge them
Center mids were very ho hum, nothing great and nothing bad
I wonder how Pepe and Willian will rotate this season
How much will Nketiah and Laca rotate
An away win is an fantastic start

He can still burn defenders, he didn't get much service at all today though. Had the one ball over the top he took down and got a shot off with his weaker foot in the 1st half. Then obviously had the long ball to him on the goal.

Arsenal needs to figure out what to do with him and AMN, the guy who was playing behind him.
