The burden of proof in a criminal case is beyond a reasonable doubt. Based on the stories told by each woman in that article, they don't meet that requisite criminal burden of proof. So to preserve a potential monetary claim against LSU and Guice, they don't file a criminal complaint, yet have no problem suing everyone else they claim is responsible. If you're truly a victim, wouldn't you want to make sure Guice never did this to anyone else? Not these two.

one didn't file a Title 9 action so that's irrelevant

the other apparently did and LSU did nothing. THAT is a HUGE problem, even if her claim is total BS. it's beyond the validity of the claim if no investigation occurred
