Rebounding is simply positioning and effort, which EVERYONE can do. Some are better at anticipating where a ball will come off a rim. Period.

Simply put, Gentry didnt value defensive rebounding and/or didnt emphasize it in his teachings and practice.

Also, having Jrue guarding all star players out of position, has a domino effect on team defense and rebounding. We need to get more length at the wing/forward spots to compete with the contenders.

Signing Jeramie Grant, drafting a 3&D wing with length, securing a defensive minded center with length who can hit a few jumpers if left open, should be a priority this offseason.

It’s also scheme and strategy. So not period.
