Aside from the natty and Bama Re-watching the Texas game is one of the most enjoyable because it was so early. You hear Kirby and Reece coming to the realization that LSU can win big.
At some point in the 3rd or 4th quarter Kirk says “this LSU team is a dangerous team”
LSU hadn’t been called dangerous in a log time unless talking specifically about defense... not team

The 3 play TD drive right before the half was Kirk's (and my) realization the offensive mindset had changed. For over a decade (if not longer) LSU would have been happy to take a 13-7 lead into the half and frankly, they would have been justified in doing so. On the road. Vs. a (then) top-10 team. And you get the ball to start the 2nd half. Instead, LSU in a flash struck for 7 more with maybe Burrow's most impressive throw of the season (in a season with countless impressive throws). Back shoulder, up high where only a well covered Jefferson could catch it and it was impossible to defend. At that point I thought LSU might blow Texas out. But that was before the defense completely collapsed
