You don't have a job do you?

1. They ARE getting paid. Rooms, meals, books, tuition, lab fees, medical care, experts training their bodies, experts training their skills so they can hopefully get to the next level. How much do you think that's worth on the open market?

2. Most importantly all of this is tax free. Yes Sparky if the athletes were getting paid they would have to pay taxes on the cash.

We have posters on here who have their head buried in the sand, but newsflash: Every top player and family gets paid handsomely under the table (football and men's basketball, the sports that matter). This bleeding heart lib claim that these poor players are exploited is such garbage. They're treated like kings and are living the high life while in school. Now, just like in the real world, when you cease providing value to your employer, the gravy train stops. Deal with it.
