If Sony releases the disc-less PS5 alongside the disc version, I imagine Microsoft has to release the Series S alongside the X.

I would. I was a PS gamer forever, but several months ago I bought a One X mostly to play Alan Wake and everything on Game Pass, and it's been awesome. I still spend most of my time on my PS4 Pro, but Game Pass has been great to check out games like Blair Witch, Revenant, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and a bunch of 360 games. Really wish PS4 was at least somewhat backwards compatible.

Bet it comes out about November 19 to coincide with the cyberpunk 2077 release.

I get everything on PC, but want to use this more as an HTPC instead of a console. Seems like it has enough power at launch to fill my needs.

I think I'm making the switch back to Playstation for the upcoming generation. Had the original PS, PS2, Xbox 360, Xbox One.

MSFT has bought up some indie developers so I am hoping for some new IP but the Forza franchise is what makes me buy the Xbox first.

Last gen's initial focus for MSFT wasn't on creating new IP but that definitely changed towards the end.
