But a player being offered a scholarship even if they choose not to play would make it extremely difficult for a lawsuit to hold up against the school

Another giant hurdle would be the player proving it was not only the football that caused them getting covid, but that somehow the school forced them to play AND was negligent in preventing the infection


The entire liability angle is overplayed

I am no lawyer. But it seems if a majority of players want to play and they know the risks and dangers involved, they could release the universities from liability. But i am no lawyer and am told ut will not uphold in court.
