Didn't it break like night before the draft and he wasn't cleared yet? Understandable teams didn't want to risk that and were severely time restricted. Would've been a PR nightmare to draft the guy being actively investigated in a murder case even if he had nothing to do with it.

La'el was never charged moron. Only thing out there was that BRPD wanted to interview him which he refused making himself look like he might have had something to do with a murder. People on here say the stupidest shat.

Lael’s stuff happened at a bad time. Didn’t talk to police until after the draft.
And his agents told teams not to draft him after the 2nd day, so he could pick his team.
