They are not against police,they just want their kind of police. A federal police,think Mao's red guard,the stasi,brownshirts etc.

Nailed it. A socialist government requires an even larger police force than the one we have. Defund police is a lie that actually means replace the existing police with those loyal to the cause.

I suspect that something like this is their End Game - to destroy Police as we know it, so that they can establish their own Political Federal Police in its place.
