That's why I don't think it's worth it to use cheap rental car companies. SixT, Dollar, Fox, etc. all seem to have one thing in common from reading reviews. They will price gouge you for minor scratches when you turn it in.

Enterprise is notorious for this.

When you turn in a car, they actually use one these every time --



So, if you ever rent from Enterprise, make sure you maticulously go around the car before you sign any rental agreements -- even underneath the bumpers. I read an article a few years back where some guy sued them because they were trying to charge him thousands of dollars for some dent on the underside of the back bumper that wasn't visible upon a regular inspection. It turned out that they had charged at least 3 other customers for the same "damage" to the same car.
