My boss at my first job in Germany had a Yorkie named Johnny Cash. He'd bring him in to the secure vault where we worked and he'd just haul arse in a big circle around all of our cubes until he got tired then go sleep under my boss' desk. Even put him on the access roster.

Then another LTC came to work in our section and Johnny Cash bit him on the ankle and that was that. Prior to that he had never snapped at anyone, or even growled at them.

Apparently Johnny Cash knew something because that LTC was one of the biggest dickheads I ever worked with in the Army.
