Corgis are great but shed like crazy. Both of them.

Pugs

I'd get a puggle. Typically, you'll get a cooler looking dog, doesn't shed as much as a corgi (but close), is a bit more rugged and doesn't come with the Pug problems - breathing, drooling, etc. But does get the pug personality.

Pugs shed a lot. Do your research. Look at shitzu or shitzu mixes. No shedding.

This. Our corgi is the best dog we've ever had but you could weave a rug on his shedded hair - daily.

If you've got $1800 to drop get a goldendoodle.

I have a puggle, she's a fatty and loyal and loving. Best dog I've ever had. They do shed quite a bit when we change from "winter" to Spring, but it's manageable.
