I’d support a legal one that conducts itself in a legal manner and defends the constitution.

Local law enforcement against these anarchist like Antifa isn’t gonna stop them imo. Partly because law enforcement is controlled by the politicians and also because the trouble makers want to have the public believe LE is the enemy of all people.

The “left / Marxist / commies / socialist/ etc” are controlling the narrative that they are the majority and are on the right side of history

How sad is it that we can no longer rely on our government to take care of this for us?

Depends on where we're talking about here. They would be met with zero leeway and intent to take them all down in my town, which is 190 - 200 miles due north/northwest of you, depending on if you're in St Francisville or Clinton. (I astutely noticed your handle.)

Of course I know they probably wouldn't be coming to my town though. Which lends reason to why I live in such a place to begin with.

You bring up a great point there, because one advantage that a militia has, is that they can say, "We, are the people". Understand, that can work both ways, depending on numbers, and that's democracy in it's purest form.

I will say this though, right is right, and if a town that might be mostly Black now, doesn't want a Confederate Statue, you have to admit, it's understandable, and they should be able to vote to remove a statue. That doesn't mean destroy it, they can let somebody adopt it and relocate it. If they just want to destroy it for general purpose, then they deserve whatever resistance that they receive.

...despite literally volumes upon volumes of confirmed modern history that demonstrates that they are actually NOTHING but murderous thugs bereft of decency, morality, virtue, or any other redeemable traits.
