In a normal world this is just benign.
In today's world, as a fire department captain, you should be smart enough to keep these opinions off of your social media.
I don't care if you're a 20 year vet, NO ONE is going to have your back.
Sad.....but true.

If he said the opposite, he probably would have gotten promoted in spite of any outrage.
