. I've run all over the Southeast U.S. and in many European countries and this is still my favorite run of them all. Sure, the nostalgia factor of running on the campus where I went to school may play a part,

You are very biased. I agree it's a nice little run but I've run hundreds of other courses in other cities that are much nicer. Town Lake in Austin, Memorial Park in Houston, Vondel Park in Amsterdam, The Resovoir in Central Park, White Rock Lake in Dallas, Mersey River path in Manchester UK,.....the list goes on and on.

Memorial Park in Houston

Did this today for the first time but I'm not sure that I went the right path. I just parked on Memorial Blvd and walked the route until it circled back to my car which weirdly was exactly 6000 steps, so a bit less than 3 miles.

I did see that there were some loops, of which I did take one, by bypassed at least one. I'll have to take a look at a map, it was kind of spur of the moment thing to get out the house and not totally waste the day.

Any 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down' on Bear Creek or Buffalo Bayou?
