Firestone was a much better venue than this, but the PGA had to kiss FedEx's arse because of the playoff sponsorship. Even the players always said Akron was one of the best stops of the year.
TPC Southwind has to be one of the most boring courses they play all season and shouldn't be worthy of the WGC event.

Are any of the TPC courses good on TV outside of Scottsdale and Sawgrass? And River Highlands is at least a decent course overall.
Guess we’ll see if Harding Park is good next week, but as relatively forgettable at the Pres. Cup and WGC Match Play.
