Nuss is in a bad spot from a depth chart standpoint. Max will likely be the starter after Brennan and better prospects Walker Howard, and potentially Arch Manning are coming right behind him.

If you're going to make that argument Nussmeier is a better prospect than Johnson and will definitely compete for the starting spot.

I try to imagine brennan staying another year but I just don't see it if he runs the offense without a ton of turnovers. His arm and release is elite .put it all together and you would think there's a what ,4th round floor.

It really is just about impossible to predict what he is under sec pressure. I'm bout to go back and watch his Td drive against troy and the int where he got pulled .I forgot about it till recently, I think it was the receivers fault though.

Anyway,I'm just bored and wanted to discuss

I’ll take as many great QBs as want to come here. We’re finally in a good place depth wise where we’re not counting on freshman or sophomores with little to no experience or even time in college.

With the offense we run now helping QBs put up better numbers, I don’t expect all these guys to start more than 2 years. Imagine a Brennan leading us to the playoffs , he could make the jump to the draft.

Gotta keep the stockpiles full.

Burrow was in a bad spot too. He had the Brennan ahead of him, and Brennan set all the Mississippi HS records. Poor Burrow. Surprised he even competed. When the man shows up it doesn't matter who else is there. If I remember correctly Peyton Manning wasn't the top rated QB in his freshman class at Tennessee.
