It saddened you that they did not do as much destruction as you wanted them to? That is a strange take. Personally, I don’t like what is happening, and I wish it would stop.

I kind of wanted to see what happened if they got past the gate. I think they were afraid to find out.

If a battle has already commenced, even in the court of public opinion, it is better for your opponent to overextend their hand than for them to retreat entirely.
