That reminds me of a hilarious scene from The Old TV show, Night Court. The prosecutor, Dan, asks a tall black guy "did you play basketball?". The guy looks back at Dan and asks "Have you ever been in a mental institution?" Then Dan says " that's silly, I asked because you're so tall". The guy just looks at Dan and shrugs.

Anytime I see a tall black guy I automatically think he swam the anchor on the swim team.....but that's just me

Just being honest here but, in my 50+ years of life, I haven't seen much correlation between "big black guy" and "dangerous black guy"
Seems to me, the most common "thuggish" ones are the ones who are trying to prove themselves "hard". Mr. 6'4" 240 doesn't need to go around beating arse for people to recognize his physical prowess. Most big black guys I've ever known personally were sort of gentle giant types in demeanor(even if they were perfectly capable of not being gentle)
That 5'9" 150 ghetto fricker though is one violent a-hole.
