He is basically calling out politics for playing “gotcha” games. He literally was pointing out how some retweets are done in good faith, but little small things are blown up to attack politically. Really it was a great honest answer to the nature of politics. It also paints him as someone called to lead instead of a politician.

You also have a Speaker of the House who does not get criticized for horrible words about law enforcement and defends the Chinese government which is an enemy of our country.
