Well, we are as of today. California Baja Sur puts out their next crisis level update this Friday night.
They are currently at 30% occupancy for all businesses, masks everywhere, etc--which we are fine with.
Has anyone here been to SJD in the last month or so? Curious as to any feedback.

I was there for the July 4th weekend. My hotel was probably only at 10%. There were very few people there.
I had a very good time, but I did make the 2-hour drive out to Cabo Pulmo to snorkel on the reef, only to find that none of the shops there were open, and I couldn't even rent a snorkel and fins.
Really enjoyed the dinner I ate at Panazia, which is right by the main square in San Jose del Cabo. It's a Mexican-Asian fusion restaurant. It had opened on July 2nd, the day before I was there, but the owner has had a Cabo San Lucas restaurant by the same name for 12 years. Highly recommend, if you want to try things that you've never eaten before -- definitely my first time to eat stir-fried green pineapple (it's crispy).
