Many of the cheaper toilets don't clean very well when they are flushed.
Go out the night before and abuse your gut at the all you can eat Mexican buffet and the next morning splatter the back of the bowl like you're blowing texture on a ceiling and you'll see the difference when flushed.
Make sure you have a toilet cleaning brush close at hand.

Toto toilets are injected under pressure which makes them heavier. I assume that makes them stronger. Also Toto and American standard have a really good flushing system on their higher end toilets. The Toto is called a double cyclone and the American standard is called Vormax. Both work very similar in that it takes less water to create the siphon to remove solids. The water that is saved is then used to wash down the bowl. I have the American standard version in my kids bathroom and rarely have to clean the bowl because the toilet is so good at cleaning it on its own.
