Just a point of clarification, and feel like this needs to be posted a lot more:
There is a massive difference between BLM the organization and BLM the movement. To use a local example, there is a massive difference between the Cajun Navy that sold t-shirts and the Cajun Navy that was baws in their flat boats helping out.
I would imagine LSU supported BLM the movement, but did not donate to the BLM movement.

Well if they were smart they’d make that clarification because right now they are costing themselves a lot of money.

No their is a massive difference between support for a bunch of neo Marxist aholes who are spreading division and the support of a narrative that blacks are subject to systemic racism in 2020.
There are many who support the narrative for a variety of reasons ranging from a persons need to do the "right thing" to white guilt.
I cut some slack if someone is acting out of sympathy. I grant no slack for the ideological driven filth that wants to upend traditional institutions so they can create their neo Marxist utopia.
The kowtowing to BLM should have consequences for those institutions and people that are reflexively bending their knees and blindly supporting BLM.
Taking down Middleton was the last straw for me. Gen Middleton made great sacrifices for the US and did a tremendous job at LSU. Ignoring all of the good he did to appease a bunch of prog scum is a permanent stain on LSU.
