I decided to keep my son in private school

I really did not want to pay tuition and have my son do virtual learning. They consider this phase 2 and they can still learn in the classroom. I know a lot of schools consider phase 2 hybrid learning. I feel better with how private schools have gone about this coming school year. I’m sure I will be saying the opposite when winter comes.

It hurt cutting a check for thousands knowing it might be BS video learning again. I guess we shall see.

They know people will pull their kids and switch to public school if it is all virtual

I have coworkers who said freak that and went the public school route because they know it’s going to be a shite show.

A few entrepreneurial stay at home moms could make a fortune from this via group homeschooling.

This was my plan as well. No damn way I'm paying for my kid to sit at home in front of a computer

It sucked big ones trying to get a 5 y/o to do his school work.

There’s also public school parents actively looking into private schools. I don’t know anyone that’s pulled the trigger yet, but there’s probably going to be a lot of kids switching back and forth over the next couple of years.

Same boat. Told my wife we need to pull him out of private for a year. Instead I’m throwing away thousands to have my wife teach him at home with an occasional zoom meeting.

Braxtyn has been doing hybrid learning for a while. We take Mondays and Fridays off for travel ball.

It may be wise to maintain a spot in private schools. They may fill up fast during all this.

You realize they are just saying this at this point so they get your money...they are going to move to “distance learning” the first time a couple of kids get covid or a teacher
