For New Orleans ... A big running back (LaMont Jordan?) to complement and add power to the offense. Reggie Bush or Pierre Thomas cannot carry the load full-time. The Saints are just one big power back away from really having something special this year.

I disagree. Pierre and Reggie are plenty and Deuce is a power back. we dont need Lamont. Not saying he couldnt contribute, BUT.. PT earned the right to get some touches. I like what he did everytime he got a chance.. Reggie will shine THAT IS FACT.. and Deuce runs real nice with a chip on his shoulder-

Sadly I agree with this until Deuce shows he can come back

Did they say LaMont Jordan? I'm not a fan of his. I'd rather have Travis Henry (although he's out for a while) or Shuan Alexander.

Hell, what's Cedric Benson doing? I'd even take Samkon Gado before I took Jordan.

Sadly, he'll have to run with a chip on his knee.

see JJ, right out of the gate i dont like your attitude. Suntiger jumped in with a great comment>> which i used to think wasnt possible.. but now you...

its a fact because thats why we drafted him, and is a fact because thats what his bank account, his commercials, and his hot-arse gf say..

its because thats what we need and thats what i want. its going to go down exactly how my erection dreamed it would when the fricking texans took super mario.

FACT

I agree with you Bunny. I'm not saying that we need anyone right now but down the line if Duece isn't healthy then we might need to go that direction if only to add depth. But I really hope Duece can come back full blast because if he does the Saints do have something really special in the form of a nice playoff run.

I feel confident that this is a true statement, NEXT year. Not so confident about it this year. It's usually 2 years before a back is full strength after tearing a knee.
