Some - yeah. I think most self -report to their co-workers/people they may have exposed who then all get tested.

The alternative is to self-quarantine for 2 weeks. I’d rather get the test if I was around someone that had it.

That's not the same thing. Anyone should tell their co-workers/friends if they have been exposed.

That's not the same as turning over information to a government worker to put in some database. I can't imagine telling some dude on the phone the names and phone numbers of everyone I've been in contact with, which in turn puts them on a list.
