She isn't in the jail JeffEp was murdered in. She is in a far worse jail in Brooklyn. He was in Manhattan. (Where it sounded plausible the guards went to sleep.) Guards going to sleep again won't wash this time.
It is reported this jail has the guards raping prisoners all the time and it is even more dirty and nasty than the Manhattan one. See my last post scenario
