I’ve been a Glock and Beretta fan for quite a while. I have to say the EZ lives up to it’s name for a reason. One of the best handguns hands down I’ve owned. I even used it for my Conceal Carry Course. Just wanted to pass some information on down to someone who may be thinking of purchasing a good handgun.

Good to know. I know a lot of novice shooters like the internal hammer design since it makes the slide easier to deal with. I figured they’d eventually release a 9mm version since the 380 was so popular.

When are they releasing the EZ45?

I fondled a performance center 380 EZ with the ported barrel and lightening cuts. Took all I had to not walk out of these with that pistol. I don't need an EZ i can rack anything I just liked the way the pistol felt in my hands and how it handled. But I don't own a 380 and didn't need another caliber to stock.

I recently bought a regular Shield 9mm and that slide is a bitch. Very stiff.

I never realized the EZ used an internal hammer.

How is the safety on it? Does it engage (disengage) easily/too easily?

I'm assuming you mean Walther? I've got a PPS M2 LE and a PPQ 45. Good choices, indeed. My FIL bought a Shield 9mm shortly after I bought the PPS and I was not impressed. Malfunctioned when he was racking the slide just clearing it one day and he had to send it in to be repaired. Had something to do with a spring getting stuck (there's a Youtube video out there with a guy who had the same issue) and after looking them over, I determined it was a part the PPS didn't have, so thankfully not an issue for me.
