Teachers frequently have no supplies and classrooms have inadequate tech. We aren’t doing something right it seems and have fallen behind.

There are schools in subsaharan Africa whose pupils perform better than some US schools. It ain't the supplies.

This is complete bullshite. I attended the same schools that my children did. Now they've got tablets, laptops, and all kinds of crazy shite in the classrooms. When I was in school they still used green or black chalkboards with a teacher standing up there with a piece of chalk in the metal case.....actually TEACHING. Now they just put on a damn video while the teacher scrolls through FB. I can honestly say that I got a better education at the exact same high school than my kids did.

Teachers need chalk, a blackboard, four walls, and a roof.

The ideas they’re spreading are cancer. That’s the problem.

It’s indoctrination, not teaching people to be creative.

Every time people vote to raise taxes so teachers can get a raise, the high dollar raises go to the administrators,
NOT the teachers. Any tax that will raise salaries for teachers should automatically exclude administrators, but should include the cooks and cleaning teams.
