Did the behavior change happen before or after July 4th?
It may have first started a day or two after the 4th. But shes 4 years old. It wasnt her first rodeo with fireworks. Hell, we set some off last year for the 4th in our drive way, and she was fine until a week or two ago.
Whats strange to me is that shes still so meek around my wife and me, that when i walk up to pet her, she still squats and pees a little
My wife is about 8-1/2 months pregnant, so That may have something to do with it, but her aggressiveness isnt taking place when someone approaches my wife or anything like that.
My smaller, older dog used to be the more aggressive one. He would bark at people when they came to the house until i came outside, then he would stop, while she would literally go hide in her cage until the barking stopped. Its like they switched roles, the smaller older one is more chill now than ever, and the bigger younger one is the aggressor.

I’ve heard of dogs behavior changing during a pregnancy. Not sure if that’s the case here, though.
