quote:
Wokeness = Marxism
Exactly this! When we regulate words, terms, etc...it flies in the face of freedom and liberty. Are some words and terms hurtful to others? Sure. But demanding by mob action and eventually governmental regulation against so called offensive language is clearly rooted in a freedom restrictive form of governance and way of life such as Marxism.

"Yes, I even love that we have racists in the game. It says so much about the power of our game and our community that even racists – not just the hardcore ones that actively spread their toxic hatred, but the softer ones who stand by rather then get involved, who say “I’m not offended, why should they be?” or “If you can’t accept that the words have no meaning, you’re not welcome,” or “If I’m not offended, why should you be?” – can set aside their deep-seated beliefs to spend time playing a board game with people who do not share those beliefs. "
This speaks volumes for the view point of Mr. Chew. He is demanding people get involved in the causes he deems important. Many objective people can be supportive of advocacy for justice and fairness while they can also eschew the widespread cancel culture and the pillaging of so many things which make up our country's heritage. They don't judge everyone and everything by its perceived worst moments or aspects but keep a balanced perspective.
Far too many corporations , entities and sports organizations have fallen over themselves to virtue signal and in so doing have granted unimpeded access to the radical left to impose their agenda on this country. Far too many sheeple have bought into this movement. Those of us who have not accepted this must remain strong and retain the courage of our convictions. Quit supporting those corporations who so meekly submitted, boycott their products, don't attend professional sports games or purchase their artifacts, even drop your support of your favorite college if they continue to capitulate to every left wing demand. We get what we are willing to tolerate.
