I want to get in the 70's consistently, Im on my way.
Ive shot low 80's last three rounds, man Im close.
My equipment is not good and currently upgrading the entire bag club by club and what I have been working on hard is alignment.
I have hammered this set up hard before every single shot and it has changed how I view golf. Focusing on my actual aim has helped me not think about swing mechanics and actually play golf on the course and not golf swing. Also by hammering alignment and aim I can now try and shape shots since Im actually aimed at my target.
Ive basically played golf for years with bad aim until I hammered the intermediate target hard and practiced it.
aim and alignment is all I really work on at the range as well. Ill put a tee in the ground about 6 feet ahead of my range ball and I will practice aligning up to it everytime before I hit. Much better than just aimlessly hitting balls working on a swing position.
