For those who say "because he knew too much" what's stopping him from disclosing such information now? It's not like those who would possibly have the most to lose came to his aid in any way. He would still have animosity toward them, would he not? And I'm not discounting the premise that he was (is) in possession of that kind of damaging information, just curious as to why he wouldn't have dropped the bombs by this point.
