It’s a relative term. Moss was not drafted. That is the NFL’s opinion of him. To compete for the college championship a team needs NFL talent liberally sprinkled all over the field. Auburn, with Cam Newton, is one of the few examples of a Championship team that did not have mostly NFL talent on the field.

The NFL - every single team - thinks Moss is not good enough to warrant a draft pick. I think he was extremely sure handed, was a decent blocker, and took advantage of the defenses’ attention being elsewhere. I call that serviceable. To say more shows admirable loyalty, but isn’t correct.
