I agree. It's why he won't get fired. But he's lost a lot of respect from me (and should lose a lot from everyone). Not because he disagreed with the Senator's position. That's fine. But because he is unable to articulate WHY he disagrees and his basis for doing so.
Everyone wants to have a "conversation". Yet no one wants to listen to someone else's argument, if that person is even capable of forming a counterargument other than "frick you."

No, he doesn't. I would argue the opposite. What does this guy do? He talks about sports, big fricking deal. He produces nothing but hot air. And most sports journalists are name-dropping star chasers anyway; usually alcoholic nerds with jock envy.
