One signature on a waiver and this is zero threat.

Waivers are weak in court. You can't sign away negligence. The waiver would have to include all known possibilities or outcomes of exposure to Covid.

People sign waivers before sky diving, doesn't mean if their parachute doesn't open the company doesn't bear liability.

Not even remotely the same circumstance. Waivers for possible exposure to a known contaminant is cut and dry. The threat of death, no matter how small, is already public knowledge. Signing that absolutely absolves all liability.
