It might seem like China is doing ok and the USA is sinking, but the opposite is actually true. China faces massive backlash that will just get worse as more details of the cover-up become known. When news of the real death toll hits Chinese citizens they will be outraged and as more and more citizens lose jobs due to supply chains diversifying they will be even more outraged. It is much more likely that a civil war will break out in China than in the USA.
