Dude I've gotten to the point where I no longer give a shite about all this. I don't care about players' political opinions anymore because clearly guys like Malcolm Jenkins don't care about hearing others' political opinions so why stress over all that. I'm just here to watch some Saints football because I need that in my life again.

And you are correct, funny how Drew didn’t say anything about race but all the real racists (Shannon Sharpe) out there wanted him to retire or quit but haven’t heard one peep from the black community condemning what Jackson said or any calls for him to retire.

That's a fair point, and really the only point of sports. We use sports as a distraction. Now, if commentators, players, and organizations want to throw that shite into game-time then I will find something else to take my mind off of the real world "problems". My advice is if you don't like the direction of the Sport/League (I know I don't), don't give them TV views, don't buy merchandise, and do not attend games. I've already done all three. If you have to watch use a streaming service so they don't get the official sponsorship traffic.

In regards to the shenanigans around Drew and the locker room, so what? The only reason why Drew backed out was to protect him and his family's future. It's a terrible thing to see a person being persecuted for their beliefs. In his case, his beliefs are not worth tens of millions of dollars over his lifetime in TV contracts and endorsements. It's a shame, but we all have a price. The American understanding that we can agree to disagree has gone by the wayside and has been replaced with a weaponized binary viewpoint. And to be brutally honest, people like Malcolm Jenkins spend half of their adult life dealing with concussion symptoms, I'm just impressed he can still string a sentence together.
