$3000 for 3 nights at the beach for 4 people?

Lol wut

It may have been around $1000 per couple. I don't totally remember. Condo was $1k-$1200 for the 3 nights after taxes and cleaning fees, so $500-$600 a couple. It was just an average condo, but the cost per night is more when you don't go 7 nights, plus it ends up more when you aren't splitting with a larger group in a bigger condo.

$500 for dining out, getting food on the way there and way back, stocking up on beer for when we get there, and then the groceries we bought once we arrived for our night of cooking is very believable.

I just remember we had gone to Chicago the year before and my total spend was around $1400, so I was surprised Gulf Shores cost me not much less at $1k. Granted, we had gotten killer deals on hotel/flights to Chicago.

Found it:

That’s 2 round trip tickets to Europe. And you paid for 3 nights in Alabama. I like you but that’s ridiculous.

Eh that’s not surprising to me. Those beachfront properties are high as shite in peak season and a big city like Chicago will have a ton more cheap options.
