It makes it such a pain to play when there are pop up storms several times a day everyday. I’ve been playing for years, but man, this summer feels like one of the worst in a while in terms of weather. At least here in SELA

It’s been awful.

It’s not just that it rains, but it rains so hard so quickly that it floods the courses forcing cart-path only for the ensuing days

Our course has been needing rain and we are finally getting some today. It kept going around us the last few days

Just payback for the 2 months of perfect weather during the shutdown.

This. We had an amazing spring here this year in NC. Sunny, low 70s, low humidity for weeks and weeks.

Now it's hot as hell...

Tried walking 9 last week and I made it to the 3rd tee box and turned around. Felt like I was walking in a sauna.

It’s been tough but, you have to play early. I tee off at 7 am and I’m done before it gets too hot where those storms pop up.

I was going to play tomorrow since it's my first day off in almost two weeks, but damn I don't know anywhere in the BR area that's not going to be a sloppy shitshow.

This truly is punishment for the amount of rounds I got in during the first few months of the shutdown.

Tried walking LSU Sunday, got rained when I got to 16. Walked Santa Maria after the rain Monday, #7 hole is flooded all the way to the cart path so walked the back nine. Was surprised how dry and hard the greens were but the fairway was wet of course. Walked nine holes this morning at LSU and the rain from Sunday helped the greens come back but that place is so damp it will be a while before the can cut the grass. Hit it in the rough and you may find 2 or 3 balls before you find your own.

I definitely don’t miss that about living in Louisiana, up here in Missouri it’s pretty dry in the summers so I can play more. Plus golf is cheaper up here

Tried going during shut down and it was a jungle.
