I believe they fear that if the statue gets moved to the cemetery then that will inspire the Confederate dead to rise from the grave and reinstitute slavery.

I mean I’ve seen countless videos lately of groups of black kids beating up a white person or even shooting fireworks at them.
So for, I’ve only seen one statue take out a BLM ‘protester’ when it fell on his head.
