I'm doing this now, but in West Virginia.
Modular Cabin - $20k-$50k (depending on what you want and you can go WAY higher)
Water Well drilling - $5000
Power Hook Up - $5000
Clearing and leveling land - $10,000
There will be other expenses such as hooking up our plumbing to the well and septic as well.
The land varies wildly. We bought an acre for $3500, but at the time there was not power to the area. It was basically wilderness land.

mule74....may I ask where in WV...love some places over there and have thought about doing the same.
