by the way, yes the cops allowed it and now they will no longer allow it as it is too dangerous.
but i'm sure the dead girls family won't try to sue the city.
these were the refuges from chaz.
in two years seattle will be filing for bankruptcy.

It's a shape that it took a couple of morons getting hit by a car for Seattle's leadership to figure out that protesters screwing around on a freeway is a bad idea.

Does WA have a "clean hands" standard? One must have clean hands before suing for getting their hands dirtied.
As in, cannot be acting in a criminal manner (illegally protesting in a street/highway) and then sue for damages resulting from acting criminally.
It would be like a criminal suing because the heavy steel door to the safe he had pried open closed on his hand breaking it.

How would this apply if the police/city allowed the protest on the interstate?

If a cop searches your vehicle and finds a few stems/seeds he may not want the hassle of writing it up and ignore it. Doesn't make it legal to be in possession though.
If a cop stops you 2 driveways from your own for DUI and you are drunk, he may let you go on to bed. Doesn't make you any less drunk.
