That's what irks me about this. It can't be that Chauvin made a mistake (a big one to be clear). But the fact that absent any actual facts that support it, this has become an issue of racism.

What will be interesting in how this plays out is that I've read a few articles indicating that this conviction will be hard to get because Chauvin's actions may have been consistent with MPD protocol regarding people with excited delirium syndrome and the fact that one of the cops allegedly indicates that's what they believed to be happening with Floyd.

Regardless of that, making this about race is wrong absent any facts that make it about race. But don't tell the mob that...obviously facts aren't something they bother themselves with.

He was fricked up on eight different substances. Of course he was delirious. He was already acting like they were breaking his arm as soon they got him out of his vehicle. He could barely walk on his own
