There’s a push going around Texas to flip Spring and Fall Sports
So baseball, track, softball, golf in the fall since there’s less contact between players
Football, volleyball, lacrosse in the spring

In my county in Georgia the players and coaches started team workouts in June.
3 schools in the county had members test positive. Those players had to be quarantined for two weeks, but the team kept the workouts going.
This gives me hope for football at least in some places.

That’s good. Here in Dallas our district started workouts and then had to stop because a bunch of kids that were hanging out together got sick and then the spike in cases is now happening big time in Dallas.
Our school has now decided to cancel workouts for the rest of summer. We are just sending our kids stuff and hoping they are doing it...

No sports this year and virtual classes which sucks for the kids.

So in the fall when this happens teams will be without their starting qb, starting center, and starting linebacker for two weeks. Yeah, that’s not going to go over well.
You will have entire teams having to quarantine because a couple of kids tested positive and they all shared the same locker room.
