Not with trump on the ticket but Georgia is purple.
Kemp, the Kemp before he became somewhat of a good household name, wasn’t really liked in his previous role.
Atlanta is super super blue but growing just like nashville and Charlotte which is single handedly turning it purple/blue.
DeSantis also barely won in Florida.
Now both of these governors have like 60% approval and have been great GOP leaders. It’s quite the turnaround honestly.
Both will easily win re-election barring some scandal.
Trump will win Georgia by 5 points again. Even with a black VP. If Bottoms is VP he wins by 2-3.

Florida is more Republican than people give it credit for. It’s a close state but the GOP usually comes out on top. Florida has two GOP US Senators. A Democrat hasn’t won a Gubernatorial election in Florida since 1994. The GOP Presidential candidate won Florida in 2000, 2004, and 2016. Even when Obama won Florida in 2008 and 2012 it was his among his closest state wins. 2.88% in the 2008 blowout win and only 0.88% in 2012.

Georgia limits governors to one term.
I don’t know if it is one term ever or just no consecutive terms, but he isn’t going to be running for re-election.
