Renovation Island - HGTV - Who's Watching?

First, I'll say that watching this makes my BP go up like no other show...every problem they run into can be multiplied by 5X - 10X - 20X. I can feel the dollars being bled out, through the screen. When Joe & Nancy Houseflipper uncover a problem in their Santa Monica project...it's usually just once. Plus, add in the fact that all of the materials need to be brought over to the island, the transportation charges alone have to be killing them. Then, there's the wait time. And the COVID-19 thing is just the icing on the cake. It's a train wreck I can't turn my attention from.
Also, anyone have any idea why HGTV seems to be skipping a lot of episodes from the original series? This might be the third week and per Wikipedia, we're already seeing episode 8 of the original series.

Covid-19 had literally nothing whatsoever to do with the actual renovation. There was no Covid-19 when they renovated. Or opened.

Didn't say it had anything to do with the renovation.
The point of my post was that they spent six or seven figures for materials, labor, etc...and now, due to COVID-19, their income stream is stopped. It's not difficult, bruh.
Why do you guys come out of the woodwork to crap on someone's thread?

Why else would we come out of the woodwork?
To be honest, I thought you were saying that the show was implying that Covid 19 was affecting the renovation.
I did see a bit of it last night. Dude dropped the countertops off of the forklift... didn't hurt a thing. You KNOW his heart skipped a few beats.

We were wondering the same thing. The episodes are not all there, but the recaps at the beginning must have been re-edited to only show the episodes that were aired. We have been watching!

Yes she is... Certainly kept my attention from changing the channel.

I don't understand why they're skipping episodes from it's original run in Canada. Also I'm 99.9% sure it's for the show but it's still stupid how they decide things as they go. They should have all the details decided before they even got to the island. Yea, there will always be surprises but most of the stuff should be known.
