Mississippi legislature, why not put the flag to a referendum vote?
In 2001, the state voted almost 65% to keep the current flag. It wasn’t even close.

Now the state legislature is voting on a Saturday and moving like clockwork to get rid of it.

Why not put it to a state referendum like you did in 2001, you cowards?

I know why and so does anyone else with a brain. Because they know Mississippians will vote to keep it by over 55% easily.

Put it on the state ballot this November. A state’s flag is too important to be voted on and changed during a summer weekend without the community being able to comment on it.
Why wasn't it put to a referendum vote in 1894?

Why is someone from Austin so against people from Mississippi voting against their own state flag?
